Project Description
Set in a heritage listed woolstore, this loft apartment was an opportunity to mix together an interesting mix of elements, textures and materials. The design encompasses an eclectic mix of industrial materials and found objects reflecting not only the history of the area, but also the industrial nature of this primary industries building. Concrete benchtops are teamed with form ply in the kitchen and an open plan ensuite is embellished with playful tiled text. Soaring sawtooth roof ceilings ensure plenty of natural light in the space and make for a dramatic backdrop for a series of multiple levels and flexible open plan areas.
